During the holidays, set aside time on a Saturday and give treatments at no cost for a patient who brings in a new toy, clothing, or other gift and then donate them to “Toys for Tots” sponsored by the Marine Corps or other civic group. The same with a food drive. Give a complimentary treatment to any patient who brings in at least three items of food to donate to the local food pantry. For free publicity, you can contact the paper or local radio station and they will announce that you will be sponsoring these events. It’s great goodwill for your practice and you will feel great about yourself for sponsoring these community-oriented events.
